Lourdes Forane Church Kottayam, located in the heart of Kottayam, Opposite to Kottayam Collectrate, Kerala.
Metropolitan Archbishop Mar Joseph Perumthottam will bless and dedicate the newly constructed Lourdes Forane church under the Syro-Malabar church in Kottayam at a function to be held here on November 23.
With a total built up area of 13,000 sqft it is designed as a combination of the Roman,Gothic and Indian architecture and has a capacity to conduct mass for 2,000 persons at a given point of time. The edifice will be home to several features including sculptures and pictures portraying scenes from the Holy Bible and side arches, among other things.
The Madhaba, which expands to a total area of 1,200 sq.ft, rises up to 55 feet . A holy cross constructed in the traditional style and a ‘Japamala wall’ are the two other major attractions.

Sunday School
Catechism is education and formation of Christian faith form the age of pre- school till higher secondary level. It teaches the Christian doctrine, in an organized systematic way, with a view of initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life.

Lourdes Forane church Yuvadeepthi having 2500 members and all of them are energetic persons those who are ready to give any type of services to the entire parish area.
Jeevakarunyam
The Church by its nature is missionary and is close to the needy with a helping hand. Lourdes Jeevakarunya Committee is the service face of the Lourdes Forane Church. The activities of the Committee consist of collecting voluntary contributions from the parishioners and distributing them to the people who are really in need.

Cherupushpa Mission league is an activity that all catechetical students from class five and above take the vows Charity, Sacrifice, Service and Suffering. The CML members engage prayer meeting after the normal timing of Catechism classes.

അറിയിപ്പുകൾ
1. നമ്മുടെ സൺഡേസ്കൂൾ ക്ലാസുകൾ മൂന്നാമത്തെ ആഴ്ചയിലേക്കു കടക്കുന്നു. കുട്ടികളും മാതാപിതാക്കളും 7 മണിക്കുള്ള വി. കുർബാ നയുടെ ലൈവ് സ്ട്രീമിങ്ങിൽ പങ്കുചേരാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണേ. ഒന്നു മുതൽ അഞ്ചാം ക്ലാസു വരെയുള്ള കുട്ടികൾക്ക് 9 മണി മുതൽ 10 മണി വരെയും, 6 മുതൽ 12 വരെയുള്ള ക്ലാസുകളിലെ കുട്ടികൾക്കു 10 മുതൽ 11 വരെയും ആയിരിക്കും ക്ലാസുകൾ. അപൂർവ്വം ചില കുട്ടികൾ ക്ലാസ്സ് അറ്റൻഡ് ചെയ്യാതെ കാണുന്നുണ്ട്. മാതാപിതാക്കൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമേ.
2.ഒന്നാം ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലേക്കു പ്രവേശനം എടുക്കാനുള്ളവർ എത്രയും പെട്ടന്ന് അഡ്‌മിഷൻ എടുക്കുക. ക്ലാസ്സുകൾ ആരംഭിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞു.
3.സൺഡേസ്കൂൾ ടെക്സ്റ്റുബുക്കുകൾ എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പള്ളിയുടെ പിറകിലുള്ള പുതിയ ഓഫീസിൽനിന്നും പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച കാലത്ത് 10 മണി മുതൽ 1.00 മണിവരെ ലഭ്യമാണ്. വാങ്ങിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുമല്ലോ.

7. യുവദീപ്തിയുടെ Welcome Meet 2021 ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേരം 7 മണിക്ക് ഓൺലൈനിൽ നടക്കും. 11th, 12th, ക്ലാസ്സുകളിൽ പഠിക്കുന്നവരും, പഠനം പൂർത്തിയായവരും പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമേ; പങ്കെടുപ്പിക്കാൻ മാതാപിതാക്കളും. Google Meet sâ link എല്ലാ വർക്കും നൽകുന്നതാണ്.
8. നമ്മൾ ഇതുവരെ 125 കുടുംബങ്ങളെ ഈ കോവിഡിsâ കാലത്തു പിന്തുണച്ചു. മരുന്ന്, ചികിത്സാസഹായം, ഭക്ഷണo, നിത്യോപയോഗ സാധനങ്ങൾ വാങ്ങാനുള്ള സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സഹായം, പഠനോപകരണങ്ങൾ വാങ്ങാനുള്ള സഹായം എന്നീ മേഖല കളിലാണു ഏറ്റവും ആവശ്യക്കാരെ കൂട്ടായ്മ ലീഡേഴ്സിsâ നിർദ്ദേശ പ്രകാരം പിന്തുണച്ചത്. ഒപ്പം വാഹനസൗകര്യം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തുക, രക്തദാനം എന്നീ മേഖലകളിലും നമ്മൾ സഹായം എത്തിച്ചു. പിന്തുണക്കുന്നവർക്കു നന്ദി.
